He shed light on the distressing issue of 1 million Tibetan children, some as young as 4 years old, being forced and coerced into China’s extensive system of colonial boarding schools in Tibet. Dr. Gyal Lo, having personally witnessed more than 50 boarding preschools and even his own family’s children affected in Tibet, bravely shared his firsthand experiences. 中国全国各地近日都爆发了反对清零政策的示威抗议运动，就连信息封锁严重的新疆都传出了示威抗议的声音，然而，外界却没有任何有关西藏的消息。法广有幸采访到两年前离开中国旅居加拿大的藏族学者近日在法国出席法国参议院西藏研究小组举办的听证会的伽罗博士，他向法广介绍了西藏封控的情况。此外，伽罗博士在加拿大多伦多大学获得博士学位，在西北民族大学藏语系任教十余年。是《西藏社会的社会结构》一书的作者。对西藏的双语教学有深入的研究，今年十月中旬，他又在印度的西藏研究杂志上发表文章，对中国在西藏推行的政策是否属于殖民主义这个引发争议的话题作出了详细的阐述，法广因此邀请伽罗博士就以上话题谈谈他的看法。
